Our good friend Vergel came by our shop to show us his new toy he just picked up. It’s a 1978 Kawasaki KZ200 with plans of transforming it into a Cafe Racer. Can’t wait to see what he has in store for this bike.

As of lately, the Z has been surrounded by an unusual amount of BMW 2002’s for some reason. These cars are so unique and are our favorite cars to see at Bimmerfest.

A fellow ‘Z’ lover brought his 1971 Series 1 240z over to the Forever Ashbury. headquarters. Dont sleep on the Zzz’z.
The small subtle features that distinguish a Series 1 over the rest of the Z’s. Emblems, trimming, buttons, etc.

Although it looks beat and tattered inside, the frame and structure of the car is relatively straight and rust free. Great bones for restoration.

This blog isn’t going to turn into a Tumblr but we just wanted to share with you random inspirations. Some of these images have no meaning except they’re just a source of stimulus and some of the others contain ‘Easter Egg’ clues that everyone will soon find out why. People throw around the term ‘huge news’ around very loosely but in our case, its going to be ground breaking. Stay tuned and see if you can guess the clues in some of these.
We took a little break Saturday afternoon to stop by the Queen Mary down the beach to check out all the amazing cars at the annual Japanese Classic Car Show. This year’s weather was gloomy but that didn’t stop everyone from having a great show. This time they included a classic motorcycle section (message Quy and tell him how stupid he is for selling his 1974 Cafe race bike). Year after year, these are one of the events that we just can’t seem to miss. So nostalgic, so classic, so much soul.
