As some of you may have known, we have been very blessed to be filming and to be apart of Terry Kennedy’s reality show that debuts October 12th of this year. Last week, we attended TK’s Supra shoe release party at Krew & Supra’s flagship store, Factory 413, with the whole Fly Society fam, camera crews and a ton of other people who came to support!

Here’s the crowd that lined up early in the day to meet TK.

Over the past weekend, we went to our friend Drama & Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory to celebrate an all new level of skateboarding which is “Street League.” It is like the MLB, NBA or NFL of skateboarding. Rob Dyrdek is a genius and does massive amounts for the sport of skateboarding. And he was nice enough to invite out Fly Society (Terry “TK” Kennedy also skates in Street League) along side with Paul Wall, YelaWolf and Bun B. Check out the behind the scenes of the before, during and after footage of the Fly Society performance and see what goes down backstage (excuse the sound quality AND this video was edited to only show the performance of the song “Skateboard”). And dont mind me sipping on my drank the whole time, it was sponsored by Monster Energy Drink and they provided an open bar with Kettle One Vodka and Jack Daniels. I got to rejuvenate with free Wahoo’s Fish Taco’s and Boardwalk hand dipped ice cream too! It’s always good times with our Fly Society family! Special shout out to Lil Phil for filming!

Before I decided I wanted to pursuit my passion for fashion, I worked a full time construction job. I know, its odd to see someone like me in construction, but you gotta do what you gotta do to put food on your table and I was damn good at it too. Needless to say, I hated that job and only did it to survive, but out all of the jobs/careers I’ve had (McDonald’s, Car Washer at Subaru/Volkswagen, Cart Pusher at Target, Usher at a movie theatre, College student, etc.), I would have to admit that construction taught me the most skills as a man and to use in everyday life. At Forever Ashbury., we believe in doing everything ourselves, because at the end of the day, if something isn’t done correctly, you can only blame YOURSELF and if you want the job done right the first time, do it YOURSELF. This company only consists of us two.

To rekindle our love for skateboarding and keep active, we decided to build a fun box/bench, which was a replica of one that one of our friend’s dad made for us when we used to skate an empty parking lot at the Bank of America after hours as a kid. We also built a ramp out of the left over wood (Go Purple!). And to follow the title, Jack of All Trades, everything about this video is about US, from the recording, editing, building and skating. We hope it gives you an insight to show you that we’re more complex than just fashion, We are Forever Ashbury., period.

She’s a lovely beast and we’ve torn her all apart to rebuild it from the ground up. Take a peek at our new project. We still need to name her also, so give us suggestions.

Meet Alexis., our model for our latest collection. Although, for now on, every collection will be named after our beautiful models, the pieces itself are primarily men’s garments with the exception of a few women’s pieces. We love the irony of how women can look better in men’s clothing then we do sometimes, especially in the morning November 23rd at 9am PST, we will release our first couple of pieces of the whole Alexis.
